"We Specialize in Integrative Manual Therapy"

|
It is our
belief that an illness or injury most often manifests itself from a series
of events which cause dysfunction on multiple levels. Our goal is locating
the "cause of the patient's problems and re-establishing the body's basic
functions which ultimately clears the way for it to heal itself.”
Utilizing a series of inter-related techniques we effectively address the
multiple issues affecting a client's health. We employ a proven, hands-on
approach, to health therapy which brings about deep and permanent changes. |

Our clinic consists of therapists
trained in Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT). While IMT is a hands-on
technique, it is distinctly different from other modalities such as
massage or classic physical therapy. Patients remain fully clothed. Gentle
techniques are systematically applied to release blockages and other
dysfunction during one-on-one hour long sessions.
The treatment process is as powerful yet subtle and non-aggressive as the
diagnostics process. Integrative Manual Therapy uniquely encourages the
body to continue to work on itself hours and even days after a session.
The goal is to make changes that integrate permanently into the body.
A treatment plan is laid out and an individual therapist begins
implementing it. The length and exact nature of the treatment depend on
the unique results of Integrative Diagnostics for each client. Patients
also play an important role in the effectiveness of their healing process
including their willingness to participate in "homework" on themselves and
implement dietary and lifestyle changes.
They key to the success of IMT is the multi-systems
approach which utilizes different techniques to address various systems of
the body such as the muscular, nervous, immune and vascular systems. For
each system of the body, there are unique techniques to address
dysfunctions. And they are utilized in a multi-system approach to address
the total health o of the body. This complete systemic approach allows for
an accurate diagnosis, effective and efficient treatment for any
diagnosis; even those for which physical therapy would not typically be
considered as a treatment option.
