Martha Spalding-Kern |
Martha Spalding-Kern, PT, NTP, BFA, Certified Matrix Eneretics Practitioner, Certified First Line Therapy Practitioner
Martha Spalding-Kern graduated from the
University of Illinois, Chicago with a degree in Physical Therapy in
1989. She also holds a BFA in dance from the Boston Conservatory.
Martha danced professionally for 5 years and went on to pursue a
career in health care. Her pproach has always been holistically
motivated due to her background in dance.
She achieved clinical experience beginning
with hospital in-patient and skilled nursing. She then switched to
pediatrics working for Tim Healey. Martha then went into outpatient rehabilitation where she worked extensively with orthopedic and sports injuries. She has worked with
professional athletes, including the Chicago Bears and Chicago
Bulls. Martha has been treating professional dancers from all forms
of dance including daners from "So You Think You Can Dance", American Ballet Theater and Scottish Ballet.
Martha has also worked with Gail Wetzler, PT where her focus became developing her skills in maual therapy. She actively pursued education in Myogascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation and extensively in Integrative Manual Therapy. Her education included not only coursework on the muscle and joint, but on the lymphatic system, the respiratory system, the digestive system, the cardiovascular system, men's and women's health systems and the neurological system. Her training also included techniques which address the mind, emotions and other energetics of our bodies.
Martha also completed certification as a
Nutritional Therapist. She is a certified First Line Therapist as well.
She combines IMT with diet and nutritional supplements to more effectively
accelerate healing. This complete, mind-body holistic approach
allows for the comprehensive, holistic treatment of any diagnosis.
Most recently, Martha became certified as a Matrix Energetics Practitioner through Richard Bartlett, DC, ND and is studying consciousness with Mark Dunne, ND.

Mona Costanzo |
Mona Costanzo, CPI, NTP
A former professional dancer with over
25 years of dance teaching experience, Mona Costanzo is an
award-winning Certified Pilates Instructor. Her extensive dance
training, coupled with her Pilates expertise, enable her to offer
patients a well-trained eye for form and alignment. She has the
ability to work with each of her clients based on their individual
level and personal needs.
In addition to her own extensive body conditioning knowledge, Ms
Costanzo has had the unique privilege of working with Mary Martin in
the Adapted Physical Education Department at Orange Coast College.
This experience was a wonderful opportunity to implement modified
Pilates techniques on a variety of students with a wide range of
disabilities and injuries. |
Raina Tsuda |
Raina Tsuda
Raina Tsuda is currently attending Pacific
College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego where she is pursuing a
M.S. degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine with aspirations of
becoming a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbologist. She holds a BA desgree in Gaphic Communication from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a MBA from University of Phoenix.
She is a Board
Certified Massage Therapist (pending) specializing in Tui Na massage
and is a fully certified STOTT Pilates™ instructor.
Raina danced with Anaheim Ballet for six
years, prior to which, she trained at summer programs affiliated
with Milwaukee Ballet and Bolshoi Ballet. She has extensive
first-hand experience combining Pilates and Integrative Manual
Therapy as rehab for acute and chronic injuries. |

Linda Notti
Linda Notti is a Certified Massage Therapist (CA state certification pending), Nutritional Consultant, Life/Health/Wellness Coach, and L.E.A.N. Coach.
For the past 9 years, Linda has specialized in Lypossage, and Lymphatic Drainage. Lypossage is a specific blend of massage modalities that derive from physical therapy, including lymphatic drainage and deep tissue release. The intention is tissue cleansing, detoxification, dimension reduction, adhesion release, better circulation, healthier skin, lifting and toning of sagging tissue and muscle toning.
Linda also utilizes other modalities such as Myofascial Release, or energy work during a session. The lymphatic system can influence emotional states so these modalities along with conscious breathing on the part of the client may bring about not only physical changes but a more relaxed, positive outlook.
With the study and research of nutrition & supplementation over the past 25 years. Linda also advises clients on the importance of proper nutrition for ultimate wellness. As a certified L.E.A.N. Coach, she teaches nutritional basics to parents and children of all ages. (L.E.A.N.= Lifestyle, Exercise, Attidue and Nutrition)
As a certified Life/Health/Wellness Coach, Linda guides clients to their own innate intelligence to overcome obstacles limiting their ability to become their ultimate selves.
Linda has also taken continuing education in Myofascial Release Technique, Emotional Freedom Technique, Compassionate Touch, Body Harmony, Reiki, Hydrotherapy Spa Techniques, Hand, Ear & Foot Reflexology, Conscious Breathing and Nutrition to name a few. She is currently Health Coach Training program to broaden and deepen her knowledge of how people can make lasting change in their lives.

Angelita White |
Angelita White
Angelita has been practicing yoga for 11 years. She has completed 200 hour yoga teacher training at the White Lotus Foundation. She is inspired by Bikram, Iyengar, The Total Yoga Series, Baron Baptiste, and has been teaching for the past four years. Her favorite type of yoga to practice is Ashtanga, and embraces the positive effects it has had on all aspects of her life. Angie enjoys teaching others to use their minds to control their body, and their experience of the world around them through yoga. Practicing pre-natal yoga allowed Angie to jog and stay active throughout her pregnancy. Angie was a softball player, and cross country runner at CSUB where she received her MBA, and Department of Real Estate Broker License. Angie enjoys helping all levels, and abilities find the healing aspects of Yoga, including meditation, breath work, and visualizations. |

Nysa Williams |
Nysa Williams
Nysa Williams earned her Masters of Science in
Physical Therapy from Marymount University in 1999. Her
undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon is in Health
Education with a focus on nutrition.
Nysa spent the next five years working in an
outpatient Physical Therapy clinic in Washington, D.C., where she
had an unusually diverse caseload and developed a reputation for
solving chronic issues with innovative techniques. She has studied
Integrative Manual Therapy since 1999 as well as completed classes
in other similar therapy techniques. Nysa strives to continue her
learning for faster and more efficient manual techniques.
After leaving Washington, Nysa moved to
Steamboat Springs, Colorado, where she worked in a hospital in a
wide variety of capacities. She worked as a Physical Therapist in
the outpatient satellite clinic, skilled nursing facility,
in-patient floor, emergency department, and with a Certified Hand
Therapist doing hand based therapy. In Colorado, Nysa treated many
ski injuries, gaining deep experience in the treatment of knee and
other joint injuries.
Nysa was a competitive rower during and after
college. She now enjoys sailing and kayaking, and playing with her
cat. She lives with her husband in San Clemente, California. |
